Throughout the year, Oremus follows the Catholic tradition of the Church and observes feasts celebrating various
mysteries in the life of our Lord, as well as in honor the Apostles, the Mother of our Lord, Saints
and Holy Men and Women through two millenia of the Church's history.
Calendars of saints' feasts vary widely and, while some feasts are common to all, the calendars
reflect the rich diversity of local expression found throughout the Church. The Calendar which
Oremus uses is derived largely from
calendars in use in various provinces of the Anglican Communion, especially the Church of
England and the Episcopal Church in the United States.
At present, many of the links in the calendar entries below link to entries in Exciting Holiness. Soon we will adapt these
entries for Oremus' specific calendar and
the links will be replaced.
