Common Worship Almanac and Lectionary for 2011--12

I am pleased to announce that my Common Worship almanac and lectionary
for the year beginning Advent Sunday 2011 is now available.

You can download the lectionary file from
http://almanac.oremus.org/lectionary <http://almanac.oremus.org/lectionary/>
and follow the link to the 2012 files.

This almanac is available in a number of formats for Microsoft Outlook,
Apple iCal, iPhone or iPad and other calendar applications. It can also
be synced from a desktop calendar to an iPhone, iPad, iPod, or other
Smartphones and PDAs such as RIM's Blackberry.

A new feature this year is the optional inclusion of BCP (1662) Collects
and the BCP Holy Communion lectionary for Sundays and Festivals.

Naturally I hope that it is free of errors, but as usual I must disclaim
responsibility for the effects of any errors. My liability is limited to
providing a corrected file for import, at my own convenience. Please
help by notifying me of possible errors.

    Donations

This Calendar and Lectionary is offered free of any charge, and without
warranty. As you can imagine it takes some effort to compile. If you
would like to make a contribution to my costs then donations of Amazon
gift vouchers are a convenient method. These can be purchased online at
Amazon
<https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/gc/order-email/ref=g_gc-dp_bnow_email> and
delivered by email to /simon at kershaw.org.uk <mailto:simon at kershaw.org.uk>/ .

I want to reiterate that I am continuing to make no charge for
downloading and using this Calendar and Lectionary --- this is just an
opportunity to make an optional donation, if you so wish. Many thanks to
those of you who have donated in the past or will do so this year: your
help makes this Almanac possible.

    Sunrise and Sunset

As in previous years, I also draw your attention to another utility to
generate a calendar import file containing the times of sunrise and
sunset for your location. Just enter a UK postcode, and the times will
be calculated especially for you! Now you can determine whether it will
be dark for your Easter vigil, wherever you are in the UK, not just in
London. You can find this utility at
http://crucix.com/crosscal <http://crucix.com/crosscal/>

You are receiving this email because you have previously expressed an
interest in receiving news about the availability of this lectionary.
Should you no longer be interested then please drop me a line and I will
remove your address from my list. I don't intend to sell your email
address, and it will be used solely to notify you of the next lectionary
or of important updates. (You can remove your name from the list or
change the email address recorded for you via the web page at
http://oremus.org/mailman/listinfo/lectionary-announce.oremus)
