Collect
O Lord,
before whose throne trumpets sound,
and saints and angels sing the songs of Moses and the Lamb:
as we remember the martyrdom of your servant Cecilia,
we pray that with the voice of music we may proclaim your praise
and tell abroad the good news of your salvation;
through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord,
who is alive and reigns with you
in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God, now and for ever. Amen.
