Six Eucharistic Prayers
as proposed in 1996

These prayers, the work of the Liturgical Commission of the Church of England, were brought to General Synod for authorization in 1996, requiring a two-thirds majority in each of the three houses of Bishops, Clergy and Laity. They failed to get the required majority in the House of Laity, and therefore failed to be authorized. They are presented here for information.

In order to make them available as soon as possible they have been automatically converted to html. There are some failings with the conversion and I hope to improve the markup at a later date.
